Infrared Light Therapy

Light therapy has been proven in over 40 years of independent research worldwide to deliver powerful therapeutic benefits to living tissues.  Infrared and visible red light have been shown to effect at least 24 different positive changes at a cellular level and proven to be beneficial in clinical healing related to pain relief, wound healing and sports medicine. This type of low level light therapy has shown no adverse side effects and has been established by the FDA as a NO RISK PROCEDURE.

More appropriately named as Photo Therapy because it uses both visible red and infrared light; with the popularity of Infrared Saunas I simply refer to it as Infrared Therapy.  You may hear it referred to also as Biophotonic Therapy, Low Level Phototherapy, Low Energy Laser Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy, LED Light Therapy, or Photodynamic Light Therapy among others. All of which utilize infrared and visible red light with the difference between LEDs and laser being the way the light energy is delivered.

I have seen amazing results using Infrared lights over the past 5 years!  In a relatively short amount of time one can experience a decrease in pain, increase in range of motion, increase in strength, as well as accelerated healing from all sorts of injuries and improvement with chronic conditions.  It is great for pain relief, swelling and inflammation, wound healing, diabetic neuropathies, arthritis and more.

Infrared Therapy may be included as part of one’s rehabilitation treatment plan or sessions can be scheduled solely consisting of infrared lights.
